Crompton Energion Regmote 1200mm BLDC Ceiling Fan Review
A ceiling fan is something most homes use for hours every day, so power consumption and convenient speed control can make a real difference over time. The Crompton Energion Regmote 1200mm BLDC Ceiling Fan combines an energy-efficient BLDC motor with an unusual dual-control system that works through both a remote and a wall regulator. With a 1200mm sweep, 5-star energy rating, and classic brown finish, it is designed for everyday spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas.
Remote and Regulator Control
The most interesting feature is Crompton's Regmote dual-control system.Unlike many BLDC fans that depend mainly on a remote, this model allows speed adjustment through both the supplied remote and a compatible wall regulator. The remote can control speeds up to the level selected on the regulator.
This can be especially convenient in a family home. Someone who prefers a traditional regulator can continue using it, while others can adjust the fan from across the room with the remote.
Energy-Efficient BLDC Motor
The Energion Regmote uses a BLDC motor and carries a BEE 5-star energy rating. The exact model is listed at around 28 watts at maximum speed, considerably lower than the power draw associated with many conventional ceiling fans.
Actual electricity savings will depend on how many hours the fan runs, the selected speed, electricity tariffs, and the fan being compared with, so percentage-saving claims should not be treated as guaranteed household savings.
1200mm Sweep with Strong Air Delivery
A 1200mm sweep is a common size for bedrooms and medium-sized living spaces. The model is rated at 350 RPM with air delivery of 220 CMM, giving it specifications suited to regular household cooling.
Room dimensions, ceiling height, furniture layout, and fan placement can all affect how the airflow feels in actual use.
Aluminium Blades with Powder-Coated Finish
The fan uses three aluminium blades with a powder-coated finish. Product specifications describe the blades as having anti-rust protection. The brown finish has a simple, traditional appearance that should blend easily with many wooden, beige, cream, or neutral interiors.
Regular dusting of the blades is still important because dust build-up can affect both appearance and airflow over time.
What We Like

Things to Consider
The dual-control feature works differently from a normal fan regulator. The remote operates within the speed limit selected through the wall regulator, so understanding the control system may take a little getting used to at first. The warranty information for this exact model lists 4 years on the motor and 2 years on the PCB, subject to the manufacturer's applicable terms.
Professional installation is also advisable if you are replacing an existing fan, particularly to ensure secure mounting and correct electrical connections.
Final Thoughts
The Crompton Energion Regmote 1200mm BLDC Ceiling Fan stands out mainly because it combines modern BLDC efficiency with familiar regulator operation. Its 5-star rating, 28W rated power consumption, 1200mm sweep, remote control, and traditional wall-regulator compatibility make it particularly suitable for households that want an energy-efficient fan without completely changing the way they normally control fan speed.
If you prefer the convenience of a remote but still want the option of using a regular wall regulator, the Energion Regmote is a practical ceiling fan worth considering.
