Ant Esports AEH0105 4K HDMI Cable Review
A reliable HDMI cable is essential when connecting a TV, monitor, gaming console, Blu-ray player, or computer. The Ant Esports AEH0105 HDMI Cable is a 1.5-metre high-speed cable designed for 4K video, gaming, and everyday home entertainment setups. With support for 18Gbps bandwidth, 4K at 60Hz, Ethernet connectivity, and digital audio and video transmission, it covers the features most users need from a modern HDMI cable.
4K 60Hz Support
The AEH0105 supports 4K resolution at up to 60Hz, making it suitable for compatible Ultra HD televisions and monitors. This can be useful for watching 4K movies, connecting a streaming device, or using a compatible gaming console on a 4K display.
The final resolution and refresh rate will still depend on the capabilities of both the source device and the connected TV or monitor.
18Gbps High-Speed Bandwidth
The cable supports bandwidth of up to 18Gbps.This level of bandwidth is suitable for common 4K 60Hz video applications and allows video and audio signals to travel through a single HDMI connection.
For most regular television, console, and computer setups, this is a practical specification without requiring additional audio or video cables.
Useful for Gaming Consoles
The AEH0105 is compatible with devices such as PS5, PS4, Xbox 360, computers, monitors, and TVs.For console gaming, it can handle compatible 4K 60Hz output. However, users specifically looking for 4K gaming at 120Hz should consider a higher-bandwidth HDMI cable and confirm that both their console and display support the required HDMI standard.
That distinction is important when choosing a cable for newer high-refresh-rate gaming setups.
HDMI with Ethernet Support
The cable also includes an HDMI Ethernet Channel. This feature allows compatible HDMI devices to share network-related functionality through the HDMI connection when both connected devices support it.
Not every device uses HDMI Ethernet, but having the capability adds flexibility without changing how the cable is normally connected.
Practical 1.5-Metre Length
At 1.5 metres, the cable provides enough reach for many typical home setups without leaving a large amount of excess cable behind furniture. It can work well for:
- Gaming console to TV
- Computer to monitor
- Laptop to television
- Blu-ray player to TV
- Streaming device connections
- Set-top box to television
- Compatible projector setups

Things to Consider
Although the cable supports 4K 60Hz, it is not the right choice for every advanced gaming setup. If you need 4K at 120Hz, 8K video, or other features that require higher HDMI bandwidth, you should look for a cable designed for those specifications.
The performance also depends on the connected devices. Using a 4K-capable HDMI cable will not make a Full HD television display 4K resolution.
Before buying, check the HDMI capabilities of both your source device and display.
Final Thoughts
The Ant Esports AEH0105 4K HDMI Cable is a straightforward option for everyday entertainment and gaming connections. Its 18Gbps bandwidth, 4K 60Hz support, Ethernet capability, and practical 1.5-metre length make it suitable for connecting TVs, monitors, gaming consoles, computers, and media devices.
If your setup requires reliable 4K 60Hz connectivity rather than high-end 4K 120Hz or 8K features, the AEH0105 offers the specifications needed for most common HDMI connections.
