HAMMER Ultra Pods TWS Earbuds Review: 50H Playtime and 13mm Drivers
Wireless earbuds are most useful when they combine comfortable everyday listening with enough battery life to avoid constant charging. The HAMMER Ultra Pods True Wireless Earbuds focus on these basics with 13mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, up to 50 hours of combined playback, built-in microphones, and USB Type-C charging. The Beige finish also gives these earbuds a softer, more distinctive appearance than the usual black wireless earphones.
13mm Dynamic Drivers
The HAMMER Ultra Pods use 13mm dynamic drivers for music, videos, podcasts, and other everyday audio.Larger drivers can help produce a fuller sound, although driver size alone does not determine overall audio quality. Tuning, fit, recording quality, and personal listening preferences also influence how earbuds sound.
For casual entertainment and regular smartphone listening, the Ultra Pods provide a straightforward wireless audio setup.
Up to 50 Hours of Total Playback
Battery life is one of the main attractions of these earbuds. With the charging case included, HAMMER lists up to 50 hours of total playback. The product also carries a standby-time claim of up to 100 hours.
These figures should be treated as maximum rated values. Actual battery life can change according to listening volume, calling time, Bluetooth conditions, and battery age.
Still, the larger combined battery capacity can be useful for commuting, travelling, or anyone who prefers not to recharge their earbuds every day.
USB Type-C Charging
The charging case uses a USB Type-C connection, making it compatible with a widely used modern charging standard. The earbuds are listed with approximately one hour of charging time under suitable conditions.
Actual charging time can vary depending on the power source, cable, remaining battery level, and surrounding temperature.
Bluetooth 6.0 Connectivity
The Ultra Pods feature Bluetooth 6.0 wireless connectivity. They are designed to pair with compatible smartphones, laptops, tablets, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
The listed wireless range is around 10 metres under suitable conditions, although walls, interference, and other wireless devices can reduce the effective range.
Once paired, the earbuds can automatically reconnect to a previously connected device when removed from the charging case.
Built-In Microphone for Calls
The earbuds include a built-in microphone, allowing them to be used for phone calls and online conversations without switching back to the handset. This can be useful for routine calls, video meetings, and voice-assistant functions.
Call clarity will naturally depend on your surroundings. Wind, traffic, crowded spaces, and network quality can affect how clearly your voice is heard.
Convenient Touch Controls
Touch controls allow common functions to be managed directly from the earbuds.Depending on the command, the controls can be used for functions such as:
- Playing or pausing audio
- Changing tracks
- Answering calls
- Ending or rejecting calls
- Activating a compatible voice assistant
IPX5 Water Resistance
The HAMMER Ultra Pods carry an IPX5 water-resistance rating. This means they are designed to handle sweat, light rain, and everyday splashes, making them suitable for commuting and many workout situations.
IPX5 does not mean waterproof. The earbuds should not be submerged in water or used for swimming, and they should be dry before being returned to the charging case.
Lightweight Everyday Design
The complete product is listed at around 32 grams, contributing to a compact and portable design. The earbuds and case can be carried easily in a pocket or small bag, making them convenient for travel, work, college, or everyday commuting.
Comfort will still depend on individual ear shape and how securely the earbuds fit during extended listening sessions.

Things to Consider
These earbuds do not offer active noise cancellation, so users specifically looking to reduce strong background noise during flights, commuting, or office use may prefer an ANC-equipped model.Battery and standby figures are manufacturer-rated maximums and can be lower during real-world use.
IPX5 resistance is useful against sweat and splashes, but the earbuds should never be treated as waterproof or submerged.
Sound quality and comfort are also subjective, so the 13mm driver specification alone should not be used as a guarantee of a particular listening experience.
Final Thoughts
The HAMMER Ultra Pods True Wireless Earbuds provide a practical collection of features for everyday wireless listening.Their 13mm drivers, long combined battery life, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, built-in microphone, touch controls, USB-C charging, and IPX5 protection make them suitable for music, calls, videos, commuting, and casual workouts.
If your priorities are long battery life, simple wireless connectivity, and splash-resistant everyday earbuds rather than advanced features such as active noise cancellation, the HAMMER Ultra Pods are worth considering.
